Tracking the Ship

Selecting a Vessel

1.
Click on the vessel you wish to track through the Map or Search bar at the bottom.
2.
When you click on the vessel, a popup window for that vessel will appear.
3.
In the vessel's popup window, you can view the vessel information and AIS data.

Vessel Popup Menu

Arrival and Berthing Time Prediction

In the vessel popup window, you can view not only the ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) provided by the vessel's AIS equipment but also the PTA (Predicted Time of Arrival) and PTB (Predicted Time of Berthing) calculated using SeaVantage's proprietary data and analytics technology.
Since PTA (Predicted Time of Arrival) and PTB (Predicted Time of Berthing) are more than 80% accurate compared to ETA, they allow for predictions regarding delays.

Setting Tags

In the ship popup menu, click on tag manage to set tags for the selected vessel.
When you click on the tag input field, a list of your registered tags will be displayed.
To create a new tag, enter the tag name in the input field and click the add button.
You can confirm the newly registered tag in Ship Insight > Fleet list > Tag Management.

Port Call List

View vessel port calls from the past 6 months.
To view, click on the voyage in the list to display the corresponding historical track on the map.

[Past Track: Historical Tracks for the Selected Period]

In the Past Track menu, you can select a period to view the historical track of the vessel. You can choose the Period and Track Color you want to search for, then click the Search button.
Historical tracks can be viewed for up to 60 days by default.
Regardless of the search period, the routing to the current vessel's destination port will be displayed as a dashed line.

Speed and Draught Values

You can view the speed and draught values for the selected period in the Past Track menu.
Hover your mouse over the graph, and the corresponding part of the track will be highlighted with a yellow arrow.

Routing

In the PTA/PTB menu, you can set the vessel’s route plan.
By setting the vessel type, size, and destination port, and clicking the Route button, you can view the routing and predicted arrival time from the vessel's current location to the set destination port.
The PTA/PTB feature can be used when you need to modify the route plan, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
